Job description – Project Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring delivery to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations for company projects
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure all works meet company quality standards and UK regulations
- Monitor project progress and support timely, cost-effective delivery
- Prepare reports, schedules, and project documentation
- Resolve technical issues during construction
- Manage materials and site resources efficiently
- Ensure health and safety compliance across all sites
- Support project completion and client handover
Qualifications
- MSc or BEng in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction or property development
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and site practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
